Last week Jacob and his Dad had to go to Montana for work. It would put off his final doctor and dentist appointments in the mission application process, but he was able to reschedule those to this week.
Monday March 21, 2011 Jacob asked Mom to go along to his appointment with him for a physical!! We were not expecting anything to be wrong... just moral support (smile).
Monday after the doctor, was the final dental appointment to have his wisdom teeth sealed to protect them for the next two years... since he was lucky enough not to have to have them pulled. Smooth, no problems. Dental complete and paperwork has already been turned in and received by our Bishop.
Tuesday March 22, 2011 at 1:00pm the nurse called to confirm all of his blood work was normal and he was healthy. Yay!
All of his shots were current except one, and they didn't have it available, so he had to make an appt. for Wednesday at the health dept. to get that done and take the completed paperwork back to the doctor to sign off on his application.
Wednesday March 23, 2011 while waiting for the appt. to get the final shot to complete the final paperwork... Jacob's passport arrived in the mail!!
That is GOOD MAIL!!
Jacob commented "how crazy is that? It arrived the very day I should be finished with my application!!"
Not crazy at all, NOT even a coincidence!!
God knows every one of us!
He knows our needs, he knows what is in our hearts.
And no matter where in the world Jacob will be going to serve his mission, God knew he needed to know in his heart and on that application, that he had done everything he could possibly do to be prepared to serve wherever he was needed. This has given him just that... he can now complete the application section "Passport?" check YES HERE!!!!
