This week was definently a stress/Bus packed week...
On tuesday i was with Elder Harward and we worked in his area then on wednesday we had to go get our comps and Elder Aguilera and i had to go back to the hospital to get his tests done... we didnt get back home until 10 at night... then (by the way each time we go to the hospital its about a 3 hour drive there and three hours back (double time.... if were lucky)) then thursday we got to work but it was a little different cause elder Aguilera isnt supposed to work until sunday but he was feeling fine so we just went to work at 6-9... friday we had to go back to Asuncion to get another test done... so we didnt get back until 10 again... saturday we worked so it was about the same as thursday we just worked a little bit...then sunday... it was kind of dangerous for us to be out cause they were electing there new president and everybody was getting super drunk and crazy... so we felt with aguileras health and the situation... we just didnt go out and work...
Im sorry i feel terrible but we ended up getting stuck in asuncion because i had to go with elder Muedas to get his final interview... so that is why the letter is so short...
But to help the Youth
About 2 weeks ago the branch president had a Missionary activity...were all 4 missionaries in the Branch would be out with a member teaching people all day Friday... I went out with a 16 yr Armando and a 13-14 yr Hector...on a division i went with those two so we were in a threesome and we left from 10-2 in the afternoon... and i decided that i was just going to show them what missionary work really is all about CONTACTING... we walked for about 10min then i stoped and Clapped the First house that we saw... then as the Man comes out (Benito 80yrs) all i do is look at Armando and he just looks at me and says What do you want me to do... i chuckle and say Be A Missionary... and as Benito comes to the gate Armando starts to contact him... we enter the house... and start to share a message with him and his wife... Isabel 80yrs... as i start to explain who we are i start to relize that they are not understanding a word im saying so i start to teach them in Guarani... but my guarani is not the best... i relized and was promted by the spirit that i should have armando and hector teach... They Taught the message of the Restoration... While i was listening to them i started to relized why we need to use members in our lessons... ITS MORE EFFECTIVE... and as they taught they brought the spirit as well... the next time we visited with Benito and Isabel... we went with a member a little more experienced... and as they were talking Benito said that When Armando and Hector were teaching... he KNEW that we were sent from god... and that he could feel that what those boys taught was true... Benito and Isabel are in process of getting baptized... With a Baptismal Date for the 30th of May...
In D&C it says that if ye have desires to serve ye are called to the work... it does not say that you have to have a plaque to preach the gospel nor in a third world country...if you desire to help others your a missionary.... as i said to Armando Be A Missionary
I Know that through the help of the members The work of the lord will go a whole lot faster... Brothers and sisters i testify that this is the work of the lord that we are in the True church of Christ...I know that when we talked to our friends Family or who ever about the gospel the Lord will bless us with what we need to say and if they are prepared, they will KNOW as did Benito and Isabel that what we teach them is true...I testify of these things HesuKrìsto Rerapè Amen...
