Cabajú

Hey everybody well this week has been a very, i wouldnt say stressfull but i would say busy week... we have been putting all of our focus in Now called Cabajú(Horse) were calling it that because there is an illegal horse racing field and quite a few horses out there... so we have been looking for more members just so i feels a little bit safer starting up the unit and we were able to find another 30 hahaha every body we talk to tells us to go visit someone else... as we contacted one family OF 13 WOW... 5 of them are not members... they told us of another family so the dad took us out to go see him and as we start talking to him i felt like i knew him then when i saw his wife BAM thats when it hit me he was the Ward mission leader of Itaugua the area next to ours... and as we talk to him he said tearing up a little bit that it was his dream to finaly have a church next to his house he has to travel 2 hours walking to go to church... on sunday we talked with president abel Alonso and he told us that we have the support of The stake presidency and of the mission president... then it got quite and i told him that i was having some doubts about opening up Cabajú because i was afraid of not having anybody in church which i did have alot of doubts about.. then he told me Elder i was thinking the same think... then we were talking about how sometimes the adversary will put thoughts into our heads to try and get us to do things we shouldnt or should do... and we decided that we needed to pray about it well president abel does and he told us he would...as we left he gave us two books that we needed to read if we were going to open up the unit one was called Running a Rama and the other was THE BLUE BOOK Manual ... sunday after church i was reading in the Rama one and it referenced a scipture Matthew 18:20 i think...and it says where there are 2-3 congregated in my name there i will be in middle of them...(something to that point) and i just got the calmst feeling that YES we do need to open up Cabajú... and i thought about Aregua and how when we opened up the church it was very few people about 15 to start not bad and we did it under a sheet metal roof and no walls in the dirt... and when i left we had about 35-40 every week... and just recently i talked to the missionaries there and they have an attendance of 55-60 every week and are making plans to build a church WHAT YEAH ... and i also thought about San Pedro... there were some weeks when it was just Me Elder Nielson and Joel Caballero hahahahahaha in our Pizza Hut hahahaha with grass walls... but even in those situations.. the Holy ghost was still present...

Then sunday Afternoon we went with president able to visit the members that we found... so he could get to know them... and visited the entire family who went through the temple the last time it was just the wife... but we talked to the dad who was 2nd in the bishopric and works 1/2 a block from the church and we were seeing if he would be willing to be one of the pioneers of Cabajú hahaha he was really excited and said he would be willing to give us his house to have the meetings in... BALLER... and i shared the scripture with them and with President abel and his wife and after i got done sharing the experiences of Aregua and San Pedro president able shared about how the Church only started with 6 members the spirit was really strong and notice able... and as we were walking out he puts his hand on my Sholder and says i think that was our answer Elder Dayley... so we were talking about a date to open it and were thinking the 8th of June... the week after changes NOOOO because im pretty sure im leaving this change... but its all up to the lord...

I love you all so much PRAY SUPER HARD that all goes well for the People of Cabajú and that i DONT get changed hahaha...

Love Elder Dayley
