Villeta

Hey Everybody... Well im officially behind enemy lines hahaha

Wednesday morning we got changed and My new Companion is Elder P- from Peru he has about 6 months in the mission...
Villeta is Right on the river almost like Antequera but more people.    Elder P- and I are the only ones for about 30min in Bus... OUR AREA IS HUGE... Not as big as San Pedro (We covered the Entire Departamento or state) but Way bigger than Mboiy... it has about 18 Asentamientos Spread out it has an area called Nueva Italia that the Missionaries have never touched before so we will see if we go out there...

so when i got here there really wasnt much to work with... there are about 20 active members

There are not very many investigators well 0 when i got here... the members dont really like the Missionaries because they never EVER go and visit them... we basicly white washed the area so we are going through looking for all the part member families...doing so we found 2 baptisms one is a little girl Diana who just needs to be baptized active family...

the next one is the Daughter of an active family as well but they never made her registros nor took fotos no testigos and they dont remember when she was baptized so Ruth is going to get baptized this Saturday and Diana next saturday...

Spiritual Moment...

As we were looking for a reference super far away in Naranjaisy... we clapped the house and a 15-17yr kid came out he told us that the person we were looking fo wasnt home...but i feel the strongest desire to share with him... so we sat down and started talking to him... he had gone to church before in Emboscada he went 7 times but never got baptized because he just went for Curiosity... he had alot of questions... and we tried leaving a book of mormon with him but he rejected it... i explained the importance of it and he tells me i wont read it, i dont even read my own bilble why would i read yours... we talked about prophets and how the book of mormon was written by them... every 5 seconds i would put the book of mormon out for him to take it... but he never would... he would come up with excuses like i dont have time... and stuff like that... the i opened up the book of mormon and had him read a random verse... i timed him with out him knowing... he looks up at me after 20 seconds and i said see it took you 20 seconds to read one verse... he thought he could trick me said no i read it twice because i didnt understand it thats why it took so long... i told him oh... so it only took you 10 seconds to read one verse... he stutters a little bit and started to laugh hahahahahanice try.... then he tried to hand me back the book of mormon i told him i would take it unless he convinced me hahahaha.... he told me that it would just be a waste becuase he is only home on the weekends saturday and sunday and wouldnt be able to take it to school with him(he sleeps at the private school during the week) so i took it back the secretly out the book behind my back... between the chair and my back and when we said the prayer and were walking out the door... i hear this laughter and him walking out saying YOU FORGOT YOUR BOOK... i turned around still walking and gave him a thumbs up hahahahahaha....BUT THATS NOT ALL

as we were leaving Naranjaisy we were waiting for a bus... and then the kid came up to us and we started talking... he told me that was pretty good what i did super tricky... as we were talking he was reaching into his bag for something and i saw the book of mormon in his bag... but i didnt let him know that i saw it... after a little while grinning I asked him So It looks like your going to read the book at school huh.... he shot his head up and looked at me with a confused face how did you know... i just winked and we got on a bus as we were pulling away he gave us the thumbs up...

I dont think i have ever been as impressed as that moment that someone would get baptized.. i have been trying to work on that for the past two years trying to feel what the spirit is telling me and following it...

I want the lord to know that if he needs and Errand ran Tom Monson (Elder Dayley) is ready to run it
"Thomas S. Monson... On the Lords Errand"

Love Elder Dayley
