Jacob and I had a great day together, we drove to Boise and started the process to get his golf clubs upgraded to take advantage of a promotion that was offered when we bought them. It means he won't get to use them before he leaves, but he will have a brand new set waiting for him when he gets home... if Jim can wait it out for two years without taking them out himself, he he he.
While we were in town, we dropped by the Red Cross to see if we could get a copy of his donor card to find out what his blood type is for his application paperwork.
We found out it takes 8-10 weeks to get a new card but they did let us know what his blood type is.... when she gave it to him, she made it sound like she was releasing the password to Fort Knox, I guess it's a good thing someone still honors privacy, but too funny!
We are crossing our fingers that it can just be written in on the application without having to wait for the card or get re-tested at the doctors office (of who we never could get through to on the phone today after msgs left on a machine for his nurse, ALL DAY LONG). Gotta put all your patience on doing this stuff I guess.
Oh well... I am just cherishing all the quality time with my teenager!! Lovin' it!! Every minute of it!!!!
