Well this week went by so fast... i have no clue why...
This week we had a ward dinner and that went really well... everybody
brought something... some of the food was a little sketchy...and there was soda
ite... (Alot in guarani... everybody just says something in spanish and then
adds ite to make it sound like there more of it)...
we brought our empenadas de
dulce...he te de i (freaking amaxing in guarani) everybody loved them there
faces were funny when we told them what was in them... some people had 7-8...yes
that is alot hahaha....
but over all the dinner went well...we had about 30
people show up and about 6 of them were non members... at first we just went
around the room and who ever wanted to share there testimony could go ahead and
do so... then we just had ourselves a little fiesta... Emerson shared his
testimony... he is such a guapo (stud)...
we just recently found out that Nedi
Dori and Emerson are planning on moving to Brazil :( really bummed about that
but i know the lord is doing that for a reason and he has a better plan for them
there (Dont know why it would be in Brazil though hahaha sorry Elder
Messer)...
Elder N- and I were talking about how we are called to an area
for a reason... and we kind of related that to dori...how we were called here to
teach her... she had taken the lessons from the missionaries when she lived in
asuncion...but she never had the desire to get baptized...but when she moved out
here to san pedro was when she had the desire... the lord works in mysterious
ways hahaha
Well the past two weeks at church have been a little slim... we had 8 last
week and 12 the week before... which are kind of low... but i hear that is just
because it is just the holidays so we will see how the next week will go...
High and Low for the week hugo didnt come to church so we have to wait
another two weeks for his baptism...but because we were waiting until he was
ready we were able to start teaching his sister and she said she wants to get
baptized as well so we will be having there baptism the same day... That should
be saweeet...
Well sorry i dont have any pictures for you were are in santani today but
next week like always...
I just glimpsed over the letter you sent me and saw that president M- is going on a mission as a president (i think is what you said).... that is so
cool... tell him that it would be a pleasue to serve for him if he were to come
here haha.. but he would have to learn spanish first hahaha
sorry i dont have a whole lot to say the weeks a starting to blend together
and what not hahaha
