Hey Everybody
Well we had alot of things going on this week that we were just blitzed out
of our minds...
Thursday we were in Asuncion for zone conference
Sunday we were in Concepcion for district conference(Stake
conference)
And today we are in Santani
it is about 7 hours in a colectivo (bus) to asuncion then another hour by
taxi we left wed night at about 10 and got there about 6 in the morning... i
hardly got any sleep on the bus so it was a long day thursday at 7 one of the
other office elders Elder Thomson took me and a couple other elders to the
imagration office to sign into the country and then when we got back it was
about 830 and the meeting already started we walked in when Nickolas Jeovani of
the 70 was talking and it felt awkward... but other than that every thing went
well and learned alot of things... President Madariaga took Faith to a whole
other level, but really opened my mind on how i can improve my faith...
We didnt end up getting back to San pedro until about 1 in the morning on
friday...
Then for District Conference we ended up going to concepcion 5 hours in
colectivo and Victorinas husband is like the chief of police for San pedro(we
are working with him haha) and so we ended up renting the police colectivo
CHUCHI (way nice)we ended up having 29 people going and 5 of them were
investigators woohoo... as the bus was leaving from concepcion to get home it
got stuck in the grass and so we wernt sure if we were ever going to be getting
home or not it was sitting there for about an hour and it was funny cause the
two cops who drove us were just standing there drinking there Mate hahahaha
lazys...
we ended up taking the bus back with the santani elders and kuyuwatu
because we were coming here for district meeting...
It has been a long week trying to plan everything for everybody to go to
concepcion and all but the had blessed us in the end and everybody had a great
time
we also have a new ZL and DL Elder Salvatierra (save the earth haha) is the
new ZL hes from chile and elder palmer is the new DL... its nice to have a
change and to see how other elders teach and work
Sorry this letter is short and boring hahaha but my bus is going to leave
in like 30min haha
