As you may know by now we are having a little bit of a slow spot here in san pedro... nothing is really going on and nobody really wants to listen to us... but when i was in my interview with president he asked me if there was anything that he could do to help me improve on... i told him that i needed to work on patience. (Obviously haha) he told to turn to the scriptures for the answer... The next day i was reading in alma 26 SO GOOD... I read that chapter every night this week and continually prayed for patience...
Now for the success part...
This thursday we were walking down the street and this guy on a motor was waving at us, i thought he was just saying hi but after 20 feet i relized he was telling us to come over... He told us ¨Ïm gonna be Honest with you, i was excommunicated but i have a wife and four kids that i want to get baptized... were is the church at here so we told him and he said he was going to be going but he lives about 30min away(By bus)from the church and only has one moto so he could only bring his wife...so he came this last sunday with his wife and baby and they really liked it... he really knows alot about the church and is really intelligent... so we planned two days a week to go out and visit him¨
we were also able to find 2 other people that are members that were baptized somewhere else but moved here and didnt know that the church was here so we will see if the come next week
Joel was able to baptize his Daughter Anahi that was his first baptism and it was such a cool experience... and then on sunday Blanca, Joels wife came for the first time in 1 year, because her parents dont like the church and her dad is a catholic pastor
at church we had a record breaking 35people... the most in a VERY LONG TIME
and this saturday we are having two baptisms Fatima and reylando... The mom and dad are not members but love the church and they have 4 kids that are that were baptized in Capiata a long time ago and then moved here and didnt know that ther was a church so we have gotten them reactivated and then we started teaching those two...
For changes WE ARE STAYING... hahaha kind of rare i think we will be together until march 14th... Every body in our zone stayed which is really rare... so it looks like i will be in san pedro for a long time... Which i do not mind at all i LOVE THIS PLACE....
Well im so glad for the opportunity that i had to learn and grow my self with my patience, im gonna be here for 19 more months so i had better learn some patience right hahaha... I belive that if we apply patience with any situation we are haveing and dificulty the lord WILL give us our exito(success)...i have seen it first hand...
mom we go to the temple every 6 months so in three more months i will be able to go.
