Well this week was just about the same as every other week here on the
ranch... the weeks are just starting to mold into one... I have been here for 13
sundays (feels like 2) haha...
This week we helped a member Gabriel(17) milk his
cows...and build a fence...we usually eat at his house about once every 2
weeks...
and the picture i sent is his kitchen...
the picture of my face was
what i looked like when he told us what we were doing hahahaha...
I dont think
the cows liked it to much... I took a wack at it...i was able to get a little
bit out...
then elder nielson went... about the same as me, we had about 1 liter of milk...and elder nielson said...
¨I think it ran out¨...
Gabriel give us the Ace Ventura sarcastic Laugh... and he pulls out about a gallon of milk... hahaha good times...
After that we built a fence... they aren't concerned about
quality here and so his fence was broken off branches tied together with wire...
im not sure it would be able to meet Scott's standards...haha...
the dog is the
paraguayan equal of "Nacho"... so smart, just doesn´t speak english, just Guarani...
Also this week we had interviews with President...Ok so you know how pres.
mccune kind of stares you down when your in an interview with him, and it feels
like he is reading your mind... thats how it was with President Madariaga...BUT
IN SPANISH... hahaha dont worry President Mccune, its a good
thing...haha...anyway so i had a really good talk with President Madariaga,
about how i was doing... and what i needed help with... then when i tought it
was all done... he got a little quiet and said ¨Elder Dayley your family is
being blessed for your decision to serve a mission, has there been anything
recent happen in your family¨ I told him about how my mom went into surgery for
a pace maker¨, we both started to tear up...he then said¨Because of your
decision to serve her health will be better¨... he then went on to say that he
could see something in me that he liked and that i had alot of potential here in
paraguay...
There is something about President Madariaga that i really like... I know
for a fact that he is called of god... I know that everybody is called to a
calling for a reason... And when we are called we need to remember that it is
god telling us not our leaders... and we need to always be on the lords
errand... in the name of jesus christ amen
Love Elder Dayley

I loved these pictures, especially the one of the Elders Eating and the three ladies watching on in the background!
