Well SP is a part of a branch in santani and before the leaders were really bad and so there is a problem with tithing about money being missing and not having any slips or records of any of the members here paying there tithing... so us and joel are trying to fix that from our end...SO HARD
Also the youth were going to santani this wed thur and fri for an activity... the only thing is we were falting money and leadership top go with them... after alot of planning and pulling teeth ahaha i decided to pay 240 mil for them to go (later would get that money back) and then shirley said she would be able to go so that was taken care of but about 2 hours before they had to go President Morales from Santani sent a list of things they needed to bring one of which was a BED... so i called President Morales and asked him how in the World we were going to get 2-3 Matresses to santani... some of these kids dont even have one to sleep on for themselves... He then gave me the speech this is how it went
Elder have you ever played basketball... my resoçponce yeah of course, why he said well then you know that when there are 5 seconds left and your down by two you want your best player to have the ball right... I said well yeah of course but what the heck does that have to do with two Matresses... he said well the ball is in your hands and we need you to take care of it... can you do it.... The thought going through my mind was 7th grade year against Valley View I made a basket with .7 seconds left to send it into overtime... and then i asked him well What if i only make a 2 point basket president then we go into overtime... do you have another plan ahahahahahahahahaha He started to laugh and told me that it will all be taken care of...then hung up...
but that still left me in the middle of nowwhere with two mattresses needing to go to santani hahaha anyway long story short we were able to find the two matresses
But the plan was for them to come back Saturday morning... because there were no busses running since it was Semana Santa holy week for the catholics and so they got on a bus with the group from concepcion (the rented) and got droped of in santa rosa and i get a call friday at about 9.30 that they are in santa rosa with two matresses and now way to get to SP...another cherry on top(that analagie was funny to explain to Joel) any way so joel had to go pick them up in santa rosa and they didnt get back until midnight
Also MORE CHERRYS hahaha There are two guapo members that started to drink again.. we stopped by ones house one night and they wife comes up to me crying and i can see the husband and guillermo talking the husband Hermano Juan was drunk out of his mind (Guillermo wasnt drinking) and so we had to talk to him about that and work with him some more... and another member was saying that its ok to drink aslong as you do get drunk... she just doesnt understand...SO THERE ARE ALOT OF PROBLEMS HERE but all we need to do is fix them... dont worry im doing good.. ahaha
also our baptisms fell through well until next week that is they went out to the chaco for the semana santa
I am very greatful for this gospel and I am greatful for what Jesus christ did for us... i am very greatful for the opportunity to live with my family forever and see them again...
Family: You are in my prayers... i am sorry that im not able to be there with you....
