Last week we invited Arnulfo to come to church... but we had to do it with a little bit of love... the missionaries have been coming by his house for about 1 year now... the only reason why he wouldnt go to church is because of his wife who is Catholic... but he reads and prays every day, he is a super smart person... he has 6 kids 5 boys and 1 girl... 4 out of the 6 are over 8 yrs old, and 3 of the boys are over 12...
With arnulfo i found that you have to be rough with love.
On saturday of last week we had to be Rough With Love... he had an experience with his wife... in the end She said it was fine for him to meet with us and to do what ever he wanted with his religious life... and we asked him will you come to church with us on sunday... then he said well I dont know Dayley...
i turned rough with love... i could tell that my voice got a little louder than normal, maybe pointing and he started to tear up.... i couldnt really remember what i said to him exactly but i do remember Saying that he will not find complete Joy in this life unless he goes to church... we asked him again... then he said Yes i will go... Now when Arnulfo says he will do something... he will do it... ive never ever met somebody like him in my mission before...
That next sunday he was in church but he wasnt able to go to the Sacrament meeting and he called me in the morning to let us know but said that he would be there for the other two meetings and so he came...We also had Marta and Ricardo and Another person Romarino in church as well...
The next monday we went by arnulfos house and we put him with a Baptismal Date for the 27th of October...
Im so excited for Arnulfo... because when he says something HE DOES IT... Sin Falta
Elder Brasher Went home on Tuesday morning
Elder Wing and I are getting along really well we Came up with a Great idea to change our room around a bit..
We have about 5 bunk beds in the Storage for the mission and so What we did is we took one and put it into our room along with our old one and then took the bottoms out of them and put hammocks underneath them... pictures will come
Well were Blessed to listen to conference earlier and GO PRESIDENT MONSON... 18 and 19 yr old Missionaries im lovin it... dont hesitate any of you go when the Prophet calls you
Can you say Asian food... Elder Prete told us about an asian food restaurant Here in Asuncion Called Shangri la super good
