Answer to a question from Mom and Dad about a trip he made to get his eyes checked...
Well We got to the eye doctor and he told me I had astigmatism or Something like that so he told me what I needed to get My glasses and so we went to the place to go get them…and I figured out what I needed and wanted and then the lady looked at me really weird… and just to mess with her I said ¨ ¿Che ponã? ¨ then her response was ¨¡Nde Ponãããããããã He na!¨ Then Elder Sanderson Started Busting up Laughing then The Lady and I started Lauging as well…
I asked her So do I look Good… then she said…. Your look Great hahaha super funny
So this week we ran alot of Hermana Missions
1- Get an Elder from his house and take him to the Hospital.
2- Take Elders fecal matter to the Hospital AGAIN
3- Pick up a Baby bath from a store in Luque (and not a Plastic Bucket to bath a baby)
4- Take an Indian family from the Chaco Abundancia tribe to the terminal…
So with Number three the Hermana Madariaga told me that her daughter was coming to visit and her 2yr son was coming with her… and the Hermana wanted something to give the little buddy a bath… and she said she wanted a Bañera (a Bathtub)… and I asked her if it was like a Storage box and she said that’s what it was like… so we get to the store and get a plastic storage bucket big enough for a two yr boy… then the Hermana called me to see if we got it and I was like yeah Hermana we got a storage bucket so you can store mission things after you use it for your grandkid… then she was like No elder I want a bathtub for a baby so we went back and we found one that looked like a teddy bear… and I asked her if she wanted Pink or Blue and Jokingly told me it’s a boy elder, lets go ahead and get him pink don’t you think hahahaha no get blue elder… hahaha the Hermana is super funny
So Last week I went on a division with Elder Rivera from El Salvador…Super funny and a great teacher…and so we were following up on a contact and a guy came up to us super Chuchi (Lots of money) and nicely told us I don’t think anybody is here… but well go ahead and try… so there were two elders and one random guy at the front door then a Maid came out and she knew the guy we were standing next to… and the were talking and he asked her is Jose Luis home and she said no… then he told us she says hes not home then he asks her in Guarani… so is Jose Luis not home or does he just not want to talk to the Gringos… I Could understand exactly what he said… and she said no… then he looked at me and said ^ hahah you probably couldn’t understand me could you that’s cause I was speaking in guarani…^ then I responded in guarani… Yeah I can speak guarani, Jose Luis is gone, Right?... then he got really embaressed and turned really red in the face…
Then we asked him were he was going and he told us he was going to his house…and so we asked him If we could go with him and share some of our message with him.. and he said sure… so we go to his house… SUPER NICE…the inside was like the Buckingham palace… and we start sharing with him, we find out that his son passed away about 2-3 years ago… super special moment…he has 3 other kids all speak English one went to the states for a foreign exchange program… and that he was in the army and was a pilot aswell….
We explained the book of mormon to him and he really was blown away by it… then we asked him to be baptized and he said that if he finds the answer in the book of mormon… and then he tells us that well if I get baptized you know all of my family will follow me right… Roberto… that’s what we want hahaha… and the next time we came by he explained the book of mormon perfectly to his daughters and how Jesus came to the Americas after his death and he was like that totally makes sence cause he said in the bible other sheep I have that are not of this fold… Roberto said that totally makes scence…
He is super cool then we also find out that he was the Minister of Defense for Paraguay… which elder sanderson told me is like a 4-5 star general… let me know if I am mistaken…
He said hes wanting to go see our church so were going to go visit him tonight and well see how he is doing with that…

we Found GOLD ALFAJORS super amazing Super hard to find… If your lucky you will See two in your mission and eat one of them… so we orderd a box of them… hahahaha
And we went out to The Chaco, Benjamin Aceval to visit some Indians and get some things from them… and for other missionaries…
I sent some letter for you mom and dad to send out to People…
And mom HAPPY BIRTHDAY
