Hey everybody
How are things going? Glad to hear BSU is doing AWESOME im the only one on
the floor that likes BSU.
To answer Brother Gtg's question... I have gained 10 Pounds since being
here but im not sure if thats the food or from running all the time... I go on
splits with Elder H- and Z- for gym time and they were x country
runners in highschool so we run to the soccer fields play soccer for an hour
then run back to our room... Its good for me but i hate doing it hahaha... by
the way Bro Gtg you should have been there to see my poor attempt at a
Bycicle kick... No bueno...hahaha
Well a dristrict from our zone left today... they are going all over N
america... all are speaking spanish...
2- Canada (Dont know why they are speaking spanish)
3- California
2- Oklahoma
1- Arizona
And then next monday another district is heading to Monteray Mexico... then
we will be the top dogs for about 11 days...
the next district to leave has our ZL in it and so everybody else in our
zone were saying that we were going to be called as the new ZLs... but i started
thinking that when they leave then we will only have 11 days so i didnt think
so.... Then in one of our meetings Bro S- in the branch presidency called us
out into the hall and asked us if we would like to be the new sacrament
coordinators... of ofcouse we said yes, then we went back into class and sat
down everybody was smiling and asking us questions if we were the new ZLs or
not... of course we didnt tell them... we let them find out in
sacrament...hahaha
Im not sure if I have talked about Hermano P- at all but I think I
did... anyway we are on winter rules now, which means that we have to wear a
suit coat every where we go...so we were talking to Hermano P- and seeing if
we could wear different pants with our suitcoats because that was kindof gross
to wear only two pants for 4 more weeks... He said that its wasnt against the
rules... but he jokingly said he wouldnt talk to us if we did cause its not
proper fashion, so of course we
all wore our grey pants with our black jackets (just for the 2 hours he would be
with us then we changed back) because we love him so much that we had to mess
with him hahahaha...
On Wednesday Elder Tvr- and I were sitting on the couches waiting for our
companions to use the bathroom... and we started talking about this (we thought
was a kid) elder that we have been seeing around... we thought he was a kid (non
elder) because he doesnt wear a tie or name tag, and he looks 14... we started
talking about him, wondering who he was then he walks around the corner...
immediatly we ask him kindly if he was an Elder or just visiting the MTC...He
said that he was an elder and just had not recieved a nametag yet... so we
asked where he was serving and he just points up and says the 5th floor... the
call center... We asked what he tought about it... and he said that he was just
happy to be called to serve anywhere... he then explained that he has a brain
toomer...and only has three more years to live...Elder Tvr- and I look at each
other then just start crying... The Strength that this elder had to serve for 2
Years out of the three years he had left to live really meant alot to me... I
wish that I could have a strong testimony like him (i will get his name the next
time i see him).
I know that this church is true and i know that god loves each and every
one of us... we are all called to this earth for a reason... and my reason is to
preach the restored gospel to the people of paraguay
Thank you for all of your letters, keep them coming.
