Congratulations on the wedding, im sorry i couldnt be there… it looks like B was loving dancing with the Glow Sticks… hahaha
So this week not a whole lot happened
We went by Sunday to go put a Fecha (important date) with Marta to get baptized for the 27th of October… and so we taught her and how its important to put goals in our life if we want to be able to achieve something and so we asked her to consider the date of the 27th… and when we asked her it looked like she just had a heart attack so obviously we asked her what was wrong with that date… and she told us that she wanted to wait until they got married to get baptized… and that she wanted Ricardo to Baptize her which is Reasonable … and so we asked them when they were planning on getting married they were planning on getting married the 21st of Dec which is about 2 months away… I was a little sad to hear that it was going to be that far away but there isn’t a whole lot that we can really do about that, it was an ok excuse to post pone the Baptism…
So Every since I got to the office we have been having problems with one of our printers, President calls it the widowmaker and it doesn’t run for nothing… we always have to fix it ourselves or send it to elder sandersons printer in is office…anyway elder smith tried to print something on the widowmaker about a week ago… and we just had enough of it so we just didn’t even try to fix it… then yesterday elder smith told me We have to get this thing fixed I havnt printed anything for a week and when ever he had something to print he just put it into a file on his desktop and was just waiting for the printer to get fixed and over time he had about 20 different things that needed to be printed and so we asked Elder Sanderson if he could come fix it (SUPER GENIUS) anyway he came in and asked us did you even think to read what the problem was… our response was no and he told us was It says theres a paper jam Elders… WOW we are idiots hahahahahahahaha
So last night we called this kid in the ward Jefferson who is going to brazil on his mission in one month… his dad is the first counselor in the bishopric… we called him to see if he could come out with us to do a couple of visits… he said he would be ready in 5 min… so we headed over to his house… and we talked with his dad about him going on a mission, his dad is freaking out about shoes shots scriptures food everything… but most is that his son might come home early… because there have been a lot of kids lately that have either left early from our mission that the dad knew or missionaries from this ward that have come home early... so were going by Sunday to make him feel better
As we were teaching with Jefferson I was looking to see Why our leaders want us to use members in lessons… and I saw that… we can teach them but people don’t always listen to us… but I noticed that when Jefferson was talking especially in his testimony the investigators really were paying attention… and really took to heart what he was saying… when ever Jefferson was sharing his testimony was when that spirit was the strongest…
MOM AND DAD GO OUT WITH THE MISSIONAIRES at least once a week if not more….
That’s so cool to here that nene and aunt lynn are going to the temple si o si you have to send pictures….
This next week we are having Elder Bednar coming… theres a lot of Logistics going into this one…Next weeks letter will explain it all
